About Us

The Witch and the Bear was started in Southern California on Tongva Land by a Wife and Husband duo who live close to the land and create many different types of crafts and goods. We have been crafting and working together for many years and we both specialize in different areas which gives us a wide range of products to offer and when we combine our work, it makes a very unique style.

Living close to the land allows us to grow our own herbs and seeds in our organic family garden and we can offer a range of crafts and goods straight from the earth to you. We carry lines of handmade natural Soaps, Candles, and Skin Care products. Our feathers, wood, bones, etc. are found by our family throughout the world in the wild which allows us to know the origin of every product to ensure zero exploitation of any living thing. We propagate new trees and plants from anything we harvest and always give offerings back to the land for the gifts she provides. Our glass is made in our glass studio here in southern California and we have a line of witchy goods ranging from wands to brooms, and smoke cleansing fans. We have some wood burned or carved runes, and alter cloths.

We love to recycle and reuse everything and encourage others to do the same and you can see that in some of our products and the way we wrap and ship items. Within just a few short years, we have grown from renting table space to having a glass shop in southern California and having a home base tucked away in the hills were we can create, grow, and craft. We now have a website online and showcase at Art shows, specialty pop-up boutiques, and festivals throughout Southern California.
